Gas Powered AirSoft Pistols

CO2 airsoft guns are a popular choice when it comes to air guns and are most known for firing 6mm pellet rounds (or BBs).

The speeds these pellets travel are slower than standard pellets which make them non-lethal, and ultimately, safer to fire. The speed is often around 300 to 500 Feet Per Second

These guns are very popular for a broad range of people.  They are less expensive when compared to the more popular choice, AEGs.

There are different types of CO2 airsoft guns sold.

The most sought after one uses a gas-blowback system (GBB). This gun operates with 134a propane gas that compresses the air which makes the BBs fire.

The gun’s slide is also cycled back using this same gas which creates recoil caused from it cycling back and forth. Gas can be supplied to CO2 airsoft guns through magazines or stored on-board the gun itself.

Gas blowback guns allow for the realistic firing of a real semi-automatic weapon and reload just as easily.

There has been some reports that there may be some CO2 leakage but we recommend a smear of gun oil on the tip of the CO2 cartridge before installation. If you follow this procedure we don’t expect you will have any issues whatsoever.

We found this pistol to be quite accurate. Firstly you need to get used to the double-action trigger but that’s the same with any pistol or rifle secondly you have to consider that this is an un-rifled barrel that is is a smoothbore. We regularly have success at 25 yards.

We have been asked previously how many shots would you expect out of one 12 G cartridge the answer is approximately 85 shots, but in stating that some users have had substantially more shots from a cartridge. The pistol is non-blowback, while some people prefer blowback but in this instance all the CO2 released is devoted to moving the pellet faster down the barrel. Please remember when you are ordering this pistol that it does not come with CO2 cylinders. They must be ordered separately. We have them listed here.
